For the past two years, the duo better known as Flight of the Conchords has stolen our hearts and made us laugh.  They now have two seasons and soundtracks to go along with it.  Most would think they are just beginning their successful television career, but it seems that may not be what the boys want.

The boys have decided to take a break before deciding the future of the show.  So, for now it seems Flight of the Conchord episodes are on hold.  There is talk it could come back as a movie, musical stage performance, or gasp,…nothing at all!  Hopefully, all the duo really needs is a break from the hectic schedule and a chance to unwind.  They must know we need them in our lives, right?

It did seem as if the finale for Season 1 was written as if there would not be a Season 2.  But Season 2 did return and things picked up just as they left off with the silly duo back as the loved folk duo that they are.

For anyone unfortunate enough to not be familiar with the show, it is a fictional series that revolves around the New Zealand folk duo in New York City as they are trying to get an American fan base.  There are a lot of comedians that come in and out of the show in guest star appearances.  The first season had 12 episodes and the second season began being aired in January, 2009 on HBO.
